Must:
We are looking for a Senior React Engineer with demonstrable experience in building modern, scalable, and maintainable web interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. You should be familiar with structured, reusable design patterns rooted in object-oriented programming. Additionally, experience with HTML5, React 16, TypeScript 4, JavaScript ES6, and JSX is essential. You should have a background in delivering consistent user experiences and user interfaces for cross-browser compatibility and be experienced in using libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design. Proficiency in creating end-to-end, integration, and regression tests using automation tools like Selenium or Cypress, as well as experience with build tools such as Webpack or Vite, is required. A solid understanding of web security best practices and appreciation of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is also expected.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our talented team that delivers business-critical software for our internal broking division and their external customer base. You will work closely with Solution Architects and Principal Engineers to build solutions that align with our IT strategy and vision. Your role will involve supporting and mentoring other team members, taking ownership of the delivery and quality of engineering and solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements, adhere to best practices, and are delivered on time and within scope. You will continuously seek to improve our processes by experimenting with new technologies and methodologies. Effective communication regarding progress and raising impediments early will be key to minimizing any impact on our delivery.
Description
This position offers a competitive annual salary along with excellent benefits, including a bonus, pension, and annual leave. The role is based in Belfast City Centre with a hybrid working model, allowing you to work three days onsite and two days from home, giving you flexibility to choose your work-from-home days. We offer a permanent, full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
