Requirements
Must:
- 7 years experience in QA / Software Testing, ideally within complex or regulated environments
- Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity or similar)
- Proficiency in a programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, JavaScript or similar)
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Strong understanding of API testing and integration testing
- Experience with BDD/TDD approaches and frameworks (e.g. Cucumber or similar)
- Experience in non-functional testing (performance, load, stress, security)
- Strong experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Desirable: Experience within financial services, trading platforms, or data-heavy systems
- Desirable: Understanding of distributed systems or microservices architectures
- Desirable: Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Desirable: Relevant testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB)
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering high-quality software across complex, data-driven systems
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and wider teams to drive quality across the full software development lifecycle
- Lead on automation strategy and implement robust testing frameworks
- Ensure high standards through a shift-left approach
- Conduct API testing, CI/CD integration, and both functional and non-functional testing across complex systems
