We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A degree in an IT-related discipline or at least 5 years of relevant experience if no degree.
- A driving license and access to a car.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in:
- Systems management
- Systems upgrades / migrations
- Change management
- Troubleshooting complex IT issues
- Planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
- Supplier and third-party engagement
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
As an IT Systems Manager, I will expect you to:
- Manage and participate in the development and implementation of both existing systems and new projects to achieve our business goals and objectives.
- Handle the day-to-day Line of Business (LOB) IT Systems Service Requests and Incidents using a Service Management tool, ensuring that SLA standards are maintained internally and externally. This will involve collaboration with a wide range of external suppliers and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Be responsible for managing both existing and new systems infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, security, and effective asset management across all IT systems, hardware, software, and licensing.
- Coordinate change release and change management activities associated with system upgrades or changes, collaborating with all stakeholders.
- Actively participate in quality initiatives, especially those related to the application of ISO 20000.
