Requirements
Must:
- I have previous experience in IT support or a relevant technical helpdesk role.
- I possess some knowledge of web hosting infrastructure and content management systems such as WordPress.
- I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when engaging with non-technical users.
- I can handle multiple support requests, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- I maintain a proactive attitude with a willingness to troubleshoot independently and learn continuously.
Responsibilities
- I will coordinate the final deployment of new websites, ensuring a seamless transition from development to live environments.
- I will provide first-line support for domain management, website uptime, email delivery issues, and DNS configuration.
- I will troubleshoot technical issues at both the server and client levels, including mail client configuration and connectivity.
- I will assist customers via telephone, email, and remote access tools with a variety of website and hosting queries.
- I will manage and maintain hosting environments using common web control panel systems and platforms.
- I will support device-level configuration of email on desktop and mobile platforms.
Description
I am a long-established digital services provider based in Belfast, seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient individual to join our growing technical operations team. This position will focus on supporting a large and varied portfolio of client websites and associated hosting environments. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between our technical infrastructure and client services teams, helping to ensure the smooth deployment and ongoing performance of hosted sites. Strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in guiding clients through web hosting and email-related queries. This position requires five days on site in our company office in Belfast.
