Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong technical helpdesk experience and excellent customer service skills. It is important to have a solid understanding of IT systems, and experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment would be beneficial. You should have experience in raising and resolving tickets, as well as providing a wide range of IT support for laptops, printers, WiFi, Windows, Email, SharePoint, and more.
Responsibilities
As an IT Service Desk Advisor, you will provide technical support via inbound calls to end users, including product users and business representatives. You will need to work at a fast pace to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Collaboration with the wider team is key to delivering an excellent IT support service. We expect you to be proactive in learning and developing your knowledge of new technologies. Additionally, adherence to company policies and procedures, especially regarding Cyber Security, is crucial. You will also have exposure to hardware/software support, network troubleshooting, WiFi, Windows, SharePoint, Intune, ServiceNow, and more.
Description
This is a temporary, full-time position based in Belfast City Centre, with a salary of £27.5k per annum. The initial contract will last for 3 months, with the possibility of extension or a move to a permanent role. We offer flexible shifts, including options for rotation or set schedules, with the potential for shift allowances up to an additional £5k. Our client, a large multinational US tech company in the private sector, is relocating its IT Service Desk Advisor team to Belfast to provide IT support focused on their financial products and services.
