Requirements
Must:
- Relevant IT or Business-related third-level qualification with technical components.
- At least two years' experience managing the performance of a team.
- Experience taking lead responsibility for managing multiple IT contracts.
- Three years' recent, proven experience achieving results in an ICT Technical environment, including Cloud Server Management, Management Reporting, Cyber Security, and Project Management.
- Valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle for the duties of the position.
- A relevant degree or professional body membership.
- Three years' management experience in an ICT environment supporting an organization of over 100 staff.
- Experience managing significant projects.
- Experience working within the third sector.
Responsibilities
- Prepare business cases and project documents for ICT infrastructure projects.
- Lead the technical aspects of ICT projects, providing technical expertise and support for non-ICT projects and changes as appropriate.
- Identify and manage ICT-related risks.
- Design and implement short and long-term plans to ensure ICT infrastructure meets existing and future capacity requirements.
- Develop, implement, manage, and maintain the ICT infrastructure via third-party providers, including server and network configuration, security, accessibility, connectivity, and backup.
- Maintain a Hardware Asset Register detailing ICT equipment used and keeping it up to date for audit and insurance purposes.
- Ensure a register of software licenses is maintained.
- Develop procedures and associated implementation, testing, and training plans for infrastructure administration, security, and data management.
Description
We are thrilled to be recruiting for an IT Project Manager for our third-sector client based in Belfast. This Project Manager role initially runs for 6 months with the possibility of extension. We need an experienced candidate with a demonstrable track record of day-to-day management and functionality of organizational ICT and telephony systems, as well as experience advising on the development of ICT systems and solutions for all services. This is an immediate requirement, and we are looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible. The project involves the development and implementation of the ICT strategy, plans, and policies while disseminating them to the ICT team. The remuneration for this role ranges from £43,684 to £47,512, plus holiday pay and pension benefits. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work from home, hybrid working options, flexitime, and annual leave.
