Requirements
Must:
- Experience in delivering multiple projects in complex commercial and technical environments
- Knowledge of project management techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on delivery
- Ability to work independently to successfully tackle and resolve complex problems and issues
- Strong negotiator to balance conflicting requirements and ensure the availability of resources required to deliver projects
- Capable of leading a cross-functional project team to successfully meet delivery targets
- PRINCE2 accreditation or equivalent recognized industry PM accreditation
Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end complying with project and quality standards, ensuring that objectives and timescales can be met
- Establish and lead project teams in the delivery of projects to agreed standards
- Work closely with Delivery, Service, and Account Management groups to ensure resources are available as required to deliver projects
- Report on project progress and other key performance metrics to the Programme Manager, Head of Delivery, and the Management Board
- Manage customer interactions and expectations during pre and post-delivery phases of the project
- Serve as a point of escalation for customers during the project phases
- Manage the hand-over of the delivered project to the support and maintenance organization
Description
We are an organization seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new network rollout across multiple locations in Northern Ireland for a major Public Sector organization. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) estimated to run for up to 12-18 months, offering a competitive salary of £55-60k.
