Must:
We require a thorough understanding of a modern IT infrastructure along with its technologies and tools, which includes:
- Active Directory Services (e.g., GPO, ADUC, DNS).
- LAN and WAN technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012 - 2022.
- Experience in configuring and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure and/or M365.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems in a hybrid environment. This includes managing service desk tickets to adhere to SLAs and providing both on-site and remote support.
Responsibilities
As an IT Analyst, I will support Local and Wide Area Networks, including VPNs. I will be responsible for the installation and support of on-premises and Azure Microsoft Active Directory server infrastructures. My duties will also include:
- Managing Microsoft Exchange (both on-premises and online) and SQL Server administration.
- Administering and configuring SAN and data backup systems.
- Configuring and supporting Firewalls and security appliances, including Intrusion and Network monitoring.
- Performing network monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Supporting telephony services, including fixed, mobile, and VOIP.
- Providing first, second, and third line support across a broad range of ICT services.
Description
This position is a temporary, full-time role with a salary range of £38-41k per annum, based in Belfast with a hybrid work model. Our public sector client operates a hybrid cloud infrastructure that includes on-premises, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud-hosted services. They leverage various technologies such as Cisco networking and VOIP, MS Teams Calling, enterprise-level firewall technologies like Checkpoint and Fortinet, as well as multi-layered security technologies including Sophos and RSA. They are keen to find an IT Analyst who is ready to contribute significantly to their operations across an extensive regional and international office network.
