We are looking for a candidate with extensive IT operational experience, ideally involving hands-on work in IT or Cyber Security within a complex organisational structure. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, Cloud services, AI, and the implementation of IT solutions is essential. You should have proven experience in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and implementing risk management solutions, including frameworks for control testing. A deep knowledge of Cyber Security best practices, frameworks, and IT risk management methodologies is also required. Additionally, you should demonstrate success in managing IT and Cyber Security risks, with the ability to develop and maintain risk frameworks and policies that align with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
As the IT & Cyber Security Risk Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Operational and Technology Risk by independently monitoring and overseeing the IT and Cyber Security risk controls within the first line of defence. Your responsibilities will include reviewing both internal and external data, and providing advice, guidance, and effective solutions to staff at all levels, ensuring that IT and Cyber Security risks are effectively managed across the organisation.
