As the Cyber Security Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing and enhancing our organization's cyber security operations, strategy, and risk management. You will develop, implement, and maintain security policies, processes, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Additionally, you will lead incident response, vulnerability management, audits, and third-party security assessments. You will also promote cyber security awareness, deliver staff training, and provide strategic insights to our senior leadership and stakeholders.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Cyber Security within our public sector organization. You will work closely with the IT Operations Manager and the wider IT team, playing a key role in developing and enhancing the maturity and effectiveness of our operational cyber security capabilities and practices. This position operates within a specialist team, collaborating across multiple departments to ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented effectively and efficiently. You will also contribute to shaping and applying best practices in security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance, while supporting IT teams in integrating security into all areas of their work. We offer a salary of £43.5k per annum and a flexible hybrid working model based in Belfast. The contract is temporary for 3 months, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
