Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Azure Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or consultancy environment.
- Deep expertise in Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Virtual Networks, and Azure Identity & Security.
- A strong background in cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM/Bicep.
- Knowledge of Azure governance, cost management, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
- A strong understanding of networking, firewalls, identity management, and Zero Trust Security models.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing skills.
- Desirable certifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform integrations would be an advantage.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data modernization projects within Azure is a plus.
- Background working on enterprise-level projects in regulated industries such as Finance, Public Sector, or Healthcare is beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be accountable for the following:
- Designing end-to-end Azure cloud architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services.
- Leading cloud migration and transformation projects for multiple clients from initial assessment through to delivery.
- Defining architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborating with client stakeholders to understand business objectives and translating them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Providing technical leadership to delivery teams by offering guidance on best practices and Azure capabilities.
- Ensuring security, compliance, and cost optimization are embedded in all architecture designs.
- Participating in pre-sales engagements to shape proposals and solution offerings.
- Working in Agile and DevOps environments to support continuous delivery of cloud services.
- Mentoring engineers and architects on Azure technologies and frameworks.
