- Experience working in control-led or regulated technology environments
- Background working within large, global organizations and distributed teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, concerns, and trade-offs

Description
We are looking for an experienced API Standards Lead to join a major financial services organization as part of a newly forming Standards & Control team within the wider CTO function. This high-impact contract role will allow you to shape, own, and evolve API standards used across our organization, collaborating closely with engineering teams, product leaders, and senior stakeholders to ensure controls are effective, usable, and genuinely improve developer experience. The Standards and Control team is focused on improving how development teams understand, consume, and comply with technology controls. Located in Sheffield, this position offers a hybrid working pattern of two days onsite per week.
