Requirements
Must:
- You must have a 2:1+ degree in Software Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years in software engineering experience is required.
- Proven ability to deliver independently on complex systems while aligning with the overall technical strategy.
- Strong technical skills in Node.js, PHP (Laravel and Symfony), front-end frameworks (Vue.js and React.js), APIs (GraphQL and REST), and databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest, Cucumber) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud hosting.
- Ability to scale architecture and perform performance tuning.
- You must have full right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Work directly in our Portsmouth office, engaging with complex challenges.
- Deliver clean working code ticket by ticket, while collaborating closely with our CTO.
- Help shape epics and tickets under the guidance of the CTO, contributing to both new features and legacy system improvements.
- Ensure all systems run fast and reliably by actively building and fixing programs.
- Maintain an adaptable approach, ready to improve existing processes while respecting the vision set by the CTO.
