Requirements
Must:
- We are looking for hands-on experience with codeless or low-code BPA platforms.
- We require a strong understanding of API concepts, including REST endpoints, JSON/XML payloads, and authentication.

- A background in BPA or automation development, systems integration, data engineering, SQL development, or low-code/no-code platform development would be advantageous.
- Experience integrating with Sage Intacct, including REST/SOAP API usage, object and dimension structures, and financial data flows, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with financial processes and accounting principles is desirable.
- Exposure to ETL tools or data integration platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and modern integration patterns is desirable.
- Experience with version control and deployment pipelines for automation assets is desirable.
Responsibilities
- We develop, configure, and deploy automated workflows using codeless BPA platforms such as Nintex, Power Automate, Boomi, Workato, Make, or similar tools.
- We analyse existing manual processes and redesign them for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
- We build reusable automation components, templates, and integration patterns.
- We collaborate with functional consultants and project managers to ensure solutions align with business requirements and project timelines.
- We integrate BPA workflows with finance systems such as Sage Intacct, Dynamics, NetSuite, or other ERP and financial platforms.
- We design and implement API-based integrations to exchange data between internal and external systems.
- We manage authentication methods including OAuth, API keys, and service accounts.
- We write and optimise MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support automation logic and data transformations.
- We work with relational databases to extract, validate, and manipulate data for workflow use.
- We ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
- We translate functional and financial requirements into robust technical workflows.
- We troubleshoot integration issues, API failures, and workflow errors.
- We maintain documentation for workflows, integrations, and data mappings.
- We monitor automation performance and implement improvements.
- We provide technical input during project scoping, solution design, and testing phases.
Description
We are a well-established, multi-award-winning Sage Intacct partner with a growing technical team. We offer a remote role focused on designing, building, and maintaining automated business processes using low-code and no-code automation platforms, with a strong emphasis on finance system integration, APIs, and SQL-based data operations. The salary for this position is £35,000 to £45,000 per year. We work closely with functional consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality automation solutions, and we welcome candidates from automation development, systems integration, data engineering, SQL development, or low-code platform backgrounds.
