Requirements
Must:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent relevant qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing care is required.
- Preferred experience of at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- It would be beneficial to have experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and epilepsy.
- Familiarity with low arousal techniques, care plans, and medication administration is also advantageous.
- A driving license is preferred.

- I will look for a Senior Support Worker who can support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, and staffing functions of our service.
- This role includes deputizing for the Deputy Manager during their absence while consistently supporting decisions made by the Registered Manager.
- You will be responsible for managing our service in accordance with the standards set by the Registered Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and best practice within the financial plans approved by the Registered Provider.
- I expect you to maintain an on-call facility and arrange for its continuity during holiday or sickness.
- You will also keep your care, support, and management skills up to date by engaging in necessary training and development opportunities.
Description
We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our care and support team in Central Birmingham, West Midlands. This position is full-time and permanent, with a nominal working schedule of 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is £13.44 per hour. Additionally, we offer a company pension and on-site parking, and the work schedule includes Monday to Friday with weekend availability.
