Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Collaboration Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, Dropbox, or Jira/Confluence is essential.
- Technical Curiosity: A foundational understanding of how collaboration platforms work and a willingness to explore emerging technologies.
- Strategic & Operational Insight: Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations, including basic experience with budgeting and vendor relationships.
- Collaborative Leadership: Proven track record of fostering an inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and drives user adoption.
- Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Passion for exploring new solutions and a mindset geared towards iterative progress in technology and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of collaboration and productivity platforms from strategic planning to daily operations.
- Lead a dedicated team responsible for tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, Dropbox, and Jira/Confluence.
- Develop and execute long-term strategies in alignment with the Universitys goals, including the rollout of M365 Copilot.
- Drive user adoption and engagement to empower staff and students to work more collaboratively.
- Explore emerging technologies to unlock new opportunities for efficiency and creativity.
- Manage budgets and monitor vendor performance, ensuring service levels are maintained.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and creative problem-solving within the team.
- Ensure that collaboration services are resilient and user-focused, adapting to the evolving needs of the university community.
