Must:
We are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect who is a subject matter expert and trusted partner with excellent communication skills. You should have experience working professionally and collaboratively with colleagues, business stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers. Your role will involve ensuring that solutions are aligned with the reference architecture to deliver maximum value to the business. You should be capable of operating across a wide-ranging technology stack, including SaaS, PaaS, commercial off-the-shelf products, and in-house custom-developed solutions. Additionally, you will need the knowledge and skills necessary to take functional and non-functional requirements, provide expert architectural direction to engineering teams, and evaluate engineering designs against architectural standards.
Responsibilities
As our Enterprise Data Architect, you will lead the architecture of the university's Enterprise Data Hub, acting as a single source of quality-assured data to support insight and data-driven services. You will work closely with our Chief Data & Technology Officer (CDTO) and other stakeholders to create and measure the university's data strategy. Your leadership will help set data architecture standards and establish effective ways of working across our data community. A key part of your responsibilities will be engaging proactively with other departments and faculties to develop and maintain strong partnerships, ultimately driving greater efficiency, coherence, cooperation, and coordination within our organization.
