Requirements
Must:
- I am a passionate Android developer with a strong technical foundation.
- I have experience in developing applications using Kotlin.
- I can read, troubleshoot, and update existing Java code.
- I understand mobile design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture.
- I am familiar with Android lifecycle events and best practices.
- I am capable of managing app releases and implementing updates via the Google Play Console.
- I have a track record of optimising app performance and addressing issues like memory leaks and long load times.
- I have experience with Android testing frameworks and possess strong debugging skills.
- I am comfortable using Git for version control and participating in code review processes.
- I can collaborate with design teams to translate design specifications into user-friendly layouts.
Responsibilities
- I will develop and enhance our Android applications using Kotlin.
- I will maintain and modernise our existing Java codebase.
- I will apply my understanding of mobile design patterns to create maintainable applications.
- I will ensure smooth and efficient app operation by leveraging my knowledge of Android lifecycle events.
- I will be responsible for publishing applications and managing update processes.
- I will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimise app performance across various devices and Android versions.
- I will ensure the stability and reliability of applications through thorough testing.
- I will contribute to code reviews and collaborate using Git.
- I will work closely with the UX/Design team to create user-friendly layouts based on design specifications.
