Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with proven experience and a strong understanding of Java and the Spring framework. You should have experience in modern frontend frameworks, particularly Vue.js, and familiarity with replatforming or modernisation projects in complex environments. A solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development is essential. Experience with public sector projects or regulated environments is highly desirable. You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive and adaptable approach, as well as strong collaboration and communication skills that ensure effective teamwork.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernise and replatform a critical public sector application. You will be responsible for developing scalable and robust solutions using Java, Spring, and Vue.js. Your tasks will include contributing to both backend and frontend development, ensuring seamless integration and performance. You will write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across the stack, and participate in design discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality results.
Description
This is a hybrid position based in London, requiring you to be in the office up to 2 days a week. The contract length is 12 months, offering a day rate of £400, outside IR35, with a start date of ASAP.
