Requirements
Must:
- An Upper Second-Class Honours Degree (or equivalent), or higher in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong proficiency and experience in one or more programming languages, with the ability to adapt to different paradigms and technologies as needed (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
- Experience defining software requirements involving state-of-the-art review, co-creation, stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, prioritization, and risk.
- Experience conducting projects underpinned by data analytics or AI pipelines.
- Evidence of having designed and conducted experiments to test hypotheses and validate AI models, contributing to rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Willingness to travel on occasion as required to meet the needs of the post.
Responsibilities
As an AI Software Engineer, I will play a key role in the development of CAISA, our innovative AI-powered training platform designed to support mental health practitioners through realistic, voice-based simulated therapy sessions. I will leverage the latest advancements in generative artificial intelligence and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to build a scalable, high-fidelity role-play simulation framework. My work will directly contribute to improved training outcomes, enhanced service delivery, and the development of a sustainable pipeline of skilled digital mental health professionals. I will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and user training, while also contributing to project reporting and informing the strategic business roadmap.
