Requirements
Must:
- Significant hands-on Sage X3 experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of make to order or engineer to order processes.
- Good experience of MPS, MRP, and underlying master data.
- Proven business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design.
- Ability to write clear functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confident delivering training and supporting users at all levels.
- Experience with advanced shop floor data capture solutions (desirable).
- Familiarity with SEI, Power BI, or similar BI tools (desirable).
- Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support across Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance modules.
- Diagnose system issues, ensuring sustainable fixes and minimal disruption.
- Define system configuration required to support change projects.
- Identify opportunities to streamline MTO workflows, reduce manual workarounds, and increase automation.
- Recommend improvements to configuration, workflows, and controls.
- Work with internal and third-party developers to deliver technical changes.
- Support the implementation of MPS by working closely with Operations Manager and sales teams.
- Review and optimise sales order driven MRP, including planning parameters and lead time logic.
- Analyse material master data to ensure accuracy for MRP suggestions.
- Ensure dashboards and housekeeping reports are utilized to replace current use of shortage lists in Excel.
- Support data cleansing, migration, and validation for upgrades or project activities.
- Build and maintain reports and operational dashboards using Sage X3 tools.
- Support and improve shop floor data capture tools to enhance reporting accuracy.
- Lead or support assigned business change projects across various departments.
- Conduct process and system requirements gathering with stakeholders.
- Liaise with third-party developers to deliver enhancements.
- Monitor and control project schedules and financial health.
- Coordinate and execute SIT/UAT cycles and manage defects.
- Update SOPs, work instructions, and training materials as necessary.
- Deliver training to end users to support consistent adoption of best practices.
- Produce quick reference materials for users if required.
- Act as a champion for system usage, data accuracy, and process discipline.
