Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Squarespace backend development and e-commerce functionality
- Strong knowledge of web development best practices, including troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience integrating third-party services (shipping and printing companies) into web platforms
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines (one week)
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
- Attention to detail and a user-focused approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Audit and improve the existing Squarespace checkout workflow for efficiency and reliability
- Integrate a shipping company to automate shipping options and calculations
- Explore and potentially implement integration with a printing company for order fulfillment
- Ensure customers can easily contact the artist for commission inquiries through the website
- Test all new features to guarantee a smooth user experience from purchase to delivery
