Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess excellent customer service skills and have previous experience in a technical support role. A keen interest in developing skills within the IT/technical industry is essential. You should have good communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and thrive under pressure. Strong time management and prioritization skills are necessary, along with the initiative to diagnose problems effectively.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for all clients. You will answer incoming calls and emails, accurately recording issues within our ticketing system. Performing basic diagnostics across multiple internal systems while escalating issues internally when required, while adhering to defined processes and policies, will be part of your role. You will manage and maintain tickets across various workflows, taking ownership of issues, communicating regularly with end users, identifying appropriate solutions, and ensuring all tickets are progressed or resolved within agreed SLAs. Engaging with third parties when necessary to arrange engineer visits, generating quotes for replacement hardware, and supporting the identification and creation or updating of knowledge articles will also be part of your duties.
