Must:
We are looking for someone with a proactive and innovative approach, carrying experience and knowledge of utilizing ITIL v3/v4 best practices. Effective time management skills and strong communication abilities with all stakeholders are essential. A willingness to learn and succeed is important, along with high motivation and a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving. Confidence and professionalism are key attributes we value, as well as a positive, "can do" attitude. Experience working within a managed service provider and managing SLAs & KPIs is required. Please note that the role is subject to a standard clear DBS being received, and some travel to customer sites may be involved, so a Full UK Driving License is necessary.

Responsibilities

As our IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational running of our business-as-usual service support services. This includes the allocation of duties and tasks, maintaining contractual KPI obligations, customer reporting, and acting as an escalation point for both our internal and external customers. You will analyze data and metrics to feed into our problem management processes, identifying trends, exceptions, and areas for improvement. You will maintain oversight of incident requests and problem lifecycles, ensuring effective service level management. Your role will include the management of major incident tickets and customer escalations, as well as ownership of priority 1 and 2 tickets, following defined processes until resolution.
