Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years relevant designer or developer experience
- At least 5 years Power BI experience
- At least 3 years Power Apps and Power Automate experience
- Experience with Lakehouse and Databricks
- Worked in an agile team for over 5 years
- Strong business analysis skills and experience
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards
- Import and manage data from various sources including Excel, SharePoint, Lakehouse, and Databricks
- Apply robust data modeling, transformation, and integration techniques for accurate reporting solutions
- Design and deploy custom Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)
- Architect complex Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes
- Elicit requirements from users and translate into functional designs
- Create prototypes, dummy applications, or mock-ups for full production builds
- Engage and collaborate with product owners, user researchers, and designers to meet user stories and sprint goals
- Write clean, secure, and well-tested code
- Support the team in inspecting, adapting, and continuously improving processes
Description
We are a leading Scottish agile and digital consultancy offering this exciting opportunity for a Power BI & Power Apps Designer. This role is remote with 4-5 days per month onsite in the Scottish Central Belt and is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or transition to a permanent position.
