Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within central or corporate functions. - Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with both IT and business teams. - Highly proactive, with the confidence to make decisions and drive progress. - Skilled at spotting risks and opportunities early, and addressing them decisively. - Excellent relationship-building skills—able to influence, collaborate, and gain buy-in at all levels. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to delivery, with a focus on HR, payroll, finance, pensions, and employee engagement systems and processes. - Take ownership of decisions and ensure accountability throughout the project lifecycle. - Anticipate and address risks before they escalate into issues, driving a culture of proactive problem-solving. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments, building strong relationships that foster trust and alignment. - Translate complex technical requirements into clear deliverables and outcomes that add business value. - Ensure all projects are aligned with organizational strategy and deliver measurable results.

Description


We are looking for a proactive and driven Technical Project Manager with experience leading projects across central functions such as HR, Payroll, Finance, Pensions, and Employee Communications & Engagement. You will join an instantly recognizable household name during a period of enterprise-wide modernization. This role will require 3 days onsite to build the essential relationships that will drive success. The position is initially for 6 months, with extensions expected, and it is inside IR35. The expected rate for this position is in the region of £600 - £650 per day.
