Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Proficiency with DBT, Fivetran, Atlan, Airflow, and Python
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in the financial services sector
- Familiarity with Tableau Cloud
- Exposure to Snowflake Cortex
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative data team where you will work closely with the Data Engineering Manager and Chief Data Officer. You will lead key projects and mentor junior team members. Our organization is heavily investing in Snowflake and you will help build an enterprise-wide Snowflake platform from the ground up using modern tools including DBT, Airflow, Atlan, Fivetran, and Tableau Cloud. Additionally, there are several AI use cases we are exploring with Snowflake Cortex.
Description
This position is based in Milton Keynes, with a flexible work schedule that allows you to be onsite just one day per month. We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £75,000, plus a 15% bonus and a 10% pension.
