Requirements
Must:
- Strong, hands-on Product Owner experience (able to deliver from day one)
- Experience working in MarTech, digital experience, or customer data environments
- Understanding of web/mobile customer journeys, personalisation, or behavioural data
- Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments
- Strong backlog management and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex delivery environments
- Desirable: Experience with Adobe products (e.g. AEP, Target, AEM) or similar platforms
- Desirable: Exposure to personalisation or recommendation engines
- Desirable: Experience in data-led or customer journey-focused products
Responsibilities
- Owning and managing the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation
- Refining user stories and acceptance criteria with a strong focus on quality
- Working closely with development teams within agile sprint cycles
- Supporting UAT coordination across a mix of internal and external test resources
- Driving delivery of key customer journey use cases (e.g. abandoned basket)
- Helping bring clarity to documentation and improve delivery processes
- Actively contributing to stand-ups and delivery forums
Description
We are supporting a large organisation undergoing a significant MarTech transformation and are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join at a critical stage of delivery. Our team plays a vital role in the final phase of a major platform implementation, requiring a hands-on Product Owner to help drive delivery, bring structure to our ways of working, and support a complex UAT phase. This contract role offers the opportunity to join a high-profile digital and MarTech programme, working on customer journey and personalisation use cases in Hampshire, with some flexibility for remote work.
