Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Data Governance and Data Quality roles within a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Data Quality, Metadata, Master Data and Data Lifecycle Management.
- Ability to analyse, diagnose and resolve data-related issues effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and intermediate SQL.
- Experience with Data Governance tools (e.g., Aperture Data Studio) would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Embed the data governance framework and support teams to adopt data quality and metadata management best practices.
- Manage data migration activities for acquisitions, mapping and profiling data, and ensure alignment with SAP validation standards.
- Monitor, report and improve data quality KPIs; configure data quality workflows and rules; and coordinate timely resolution of data issues.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and IT Security to ensure data governance supports wider assurance frameworks.
- Support communication and training programmes to raise awareness of data governance principles across the organisation.
Description
