Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale infrastructure and service management transformations
- Strong background in IT maturity assessment and strategy formulation
- Deep technical knowledge of modern infrastructure architectures and cloud/hybrid platforms
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tooling and processes
- Ability to operate at executive and Board level with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in assessing and reviewing third-party service providers and contracts
- Knowledge of service architecture, operational resilience, and end-to-end service definitions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration across teams
Responsibilities
- Assess the current infrastructure and service management landscape across the Group and Divisions
- Define the target state for infrastructure, service management, and operational resilience
- Establish principles for standardisation, automation, and service insourcing/outsourcing
- Review third-party service providers to identify performance, cost, and risk issues
- Design end-to-end service definitions, SLAs/OLAs, and governance models
- Collaborate closely with Cyber, Architecture, Applications, and Data leadership
- Produce a clear transformation roadmap and implementation plan for executive decision-making
Description
We are a FTSE 250 organisation based in London, looking for an Interim Head of Infrastructure & Service Management to drive our significant IT transformation programme. This role offers competitive compensation of £800 - £1000 per day and is expected to start in January 2026 for an initial duration of 6 months.
