Requirements
Must:
- Strong track record of leading enterprise-scale application and data transformations in complex organisations
- Ability to operate at executive and Board level
- Expertise in translating technical strategy into clear business outcomes
- Deep technical credibility across modern application architectures and cloud-native platforms
- Knowledge of integration patterns, data and analytics ecosystems
- Familiarity with contemporary engineering and operational practices
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Establish clarity and transparency across the current applications and data estate, including integrations, ownership, usage, and commercial arrangements
- Define the target state and transformation roadmap covering application development and operations, integration, data platforms, decision intelligence, and SDLC standards
- Design a simplified, integrated, and well-governed future estate aligned to a federated IT operating model
- Work closely with architecture and delivery leaders to develop robust investment cases, costs, benefits, and dependencies
- Engage credibly with senior stakeholders to support executive and Board-level decision making
Description
We are a FTSE 250 organisation undergoing a major IT transformation with ambitious growth plans. This interim role offers a high-profile opportunity to shape the future technology foundations of our organisation, based in London with a hybrid work model. We are looking for a leader who will be instrumental in our transformation journey, starting in January 2026 for an initial period of 6 months, with competitive compensation of £800 - £1000 per day.
