Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience performing a Head of PMO role, or similar, delivering a portfolio of projects and programmes
- Ability to build and create a new PMO function
- Proven understanding of project governance, risk, and planning
- Attention to detail ensuring reports and data are accurate and professionally presented for Senior Executive level
- Substantial experience using Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Ability to develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with key stakeholders and other customers
- Ideally certified as a P30 Practitioner, with candidates holding Prince 2 / MSP or similar certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall PMO strategy in line with organizational goals and objectives
- Ensure the PMO acts as a centre of excellence for project and programme management
- Define project management methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Oversee project portfolio management for alignment with business objectives and resource optimization
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Implement project governance processes in accordance with organizational policies and standards
- Accountable for coordination and standardization of all project documentation and processes across departments
- Define and implement appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project performance
- Lead development of automated systems for project status reporting
- Manage quality assurance across all relevant departments
- Lead execution of PMO governance across all departments and preparation activities for decision-making Boards
