Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong background in modern technologies, particularly AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Postgres, CDK), TypeScript, React, Next.js, Jest, Playwright, and CI/CD. You should have a hands-on approach to both technical leadership and engineering, with the ability to code (70-80% of the role) and manage (20-30% of the role). Experience in shaping engineering culture and making technology decisions is essential, as well as the capability to grow and mentor a team of engineers.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to establish and expand the Core Services team, focusing on developing scalable architecture, developer tooling, and platform services that support multiple product squads. You will report directly to the CTO and will be responsible for shaping the engineering strategy while overseeing a growing team of engineers. Your contributions will have a high impact on our mission-driven organization, influencing our approach to technology and culture.
