Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of an HNC/HND or equivalent in either an IT or business-related subject
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a multi-site, distributed ICT environment
- Practical and technical experience in a multi-site, distributed ICT environment
- Experience with computer hardware
- Experience working with network components
- Experience with enterprise technologies such as email, cloud services, security, and databases
- Full current driving license with access to a vehicle
- Professional membership of the British Computer Society (desirable)
- Cisco Certified (desirable)
- Microsoft Certified (desirable)
- ITIL foundation certification (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide third level technical support on the current server, security, and telecommunication infrastructure
- Support the IT Service Desk for all 200 Translink locations across Northern Ireland
- Contribute to maintaining the availability and accessibility of the IT infrastructure to agreed service levels
- Investigate and resolve incidents and problems
- Provide information about systems and services within the Translink IT infrastructure
- Work to ITIL best practice methodologies
