Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of proven industry experience in mobile development using C#, Xamarin or MAUI
- Experience with mobile database management and synchronization
- Background in integrating applications with APIs and third-party services
- Experience with UI development for mobile applications
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Git or similar source control tools
- (Desirable) Experience with Bluetooth integration
- (Desirable) Experience with mobile SQL database management
- (Desirable) Experience with notification services such as SignalR
- (Desirable) Experience communicating with stakeholders and customers
- (Desirable) Background in using Mobile Device Management tools
- (Desirable) A background in the fuel or logistics sector
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and enhancing the organizations Android-based mobile application
- Developing and supporting features using C#, Xamarin and MAUI
- Managing device databases including SQL data storage and synchronization
- Integrating applications with APIs, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi peripherals
- Building robust APIs to support mobile functionality
- Ensuring reliable communications with Azure services and notification frameworks
- Collaborating with teams to investigate and resolve issues
- Providing technical input throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Working to Agile practices including testing and configuration management
- Supporting continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and processes
Description
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a C# Software Engineer / Android Application Developer to work on our Android-based fuel delivery solution. This position allows you to broaden your technical skills while contributing to a platform used in busy operational environments. You will join a friendly and supportive team, taking ownership of tasks, solving problems collaboratively, and delivering high-quality software within an Agile development environment. We offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, along with benefits such as 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays, free on-site parking, a company pension, and flexible start and finish times. This is a full-time, permanent position based in a hybrid model located in Manchester, North West England.
