Technical Security Specialist

- Effectively lead Physical Security projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring all project objectives (budget, timeline, resource) are met - Build and maintain strong and engaging partnerships with key stakeholders and other Project Managers - Lead collaboration with Construction, IT, field Loss Prevention, Finance, HR, and 3rd party security integrators to achieve project goals - Design appropriate Physical Security systems using technical software and specialist knowledge of systems, equipment, and risks - Coordinate the installation of Physical Security systems in TJX Europe buildings including attending sites and conducting meetings - Handle exceptions and provide solutions to meet timeframes - Ensure all technical equipment and systems deployed are to TJX standard and fit for purpose - Partner with TJX IT using specialist technical security and IT networking knowledge to ensure systems perform as expected - Conduct regular Health checks for key systems, especially on the Genetec platform, such as CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Intercoms, and Public Announcements - Assist in managing all TJX Europe Physical and Technical Security systems on a day-to-day basis, facilitating discussions and meetings as appropriate - Provide on-site/remote support as required - Partner with finance to verify relevant Capex and Purchase Orders, ensuring expenditure is within budget and raising issues - Interrogate relevant invoices according to purchasing policy to ensure accuracy - Identify areas of risk to the business and research new or innovative technical solutions - Run Proof of Concept trials for technologies to meet objectives and provide analysis along with conclusions - Develop Upgrade strategies for maximum return on investment from physical security assets - Work with internal partners and suppliers to develop user guides and training materials for physical security systems - Provide demonstrations of new equipment/technologies and support business partners in effective use - Maintain knowledge on new and emerging technology, finding opportunities to innovate - Manage expectations and provide updates on workflow progress - Identify risks or derailers early and prioritize accordingly
