Requirements
Must:
- Practical experience in both manual and automated testing of modern web or cloud-native systems.
- Proven leadership/management experience of QA Engineers.
- Strong understanding of software testing methods: functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST API automation tools).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Awareness of secure coding, security testing basics, and data privacy considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile squads and cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in an exciting and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead our QA team in both manual and automated testing initiatives.
- Develop and implement testing strategies for modern web and cloud-native systems.
- Mentor and manage QA Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee the testing lifecycle ensuring thorough coverage includes functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance testing.
- Create and maintain test automation frameworks and ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct API and microservices testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Advocate for secure coding practices and data privacy considerations within the team.
- Collaborate with Agile squads on project requirements and test planning.
