Requirements
Must:
- Experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Technical Specialist (not Service desk)
- Dual experience with traditional Infrastructure BAU support in an ITIL environment and with Azure IAAS, PAAS, DevOps and Infrastructure as code
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows technologies (Including installation, Active Directory, WDS, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, Group Policy)
- Skilled in Virtualisation (VMWARE and Vsphere)
- Knowledgeable in IT and Cyber Security measures (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, security patching, IDP/IDS)
- Experience working as part of projects teams to deliver infrastructure and software development projects and their transition into support of delivering CSI initiatives
- Familiar with SAN Technologies (Storage configuration & provision, Fibre Channel connectivity & zoning)
- A self-starter and strong team player with excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Manage incident and request fulfilment tickets within SLAs
- Monitor key health signs of infrastructure and respond to actual or predicted issues
- Support projects and new initiatives
- Participate in investigations and remediation of any reported Security vulnerabilities or Security breaches
- Implement infrastructure design and build best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the department and wider business and communicate effectively with audiences of all technical ability and understanding
Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is located on-site two days a week and is key to managing the integrity and performance of our infrastructure.
