We seek a confident, detail-oriented Product Owner with 1-3 years of experience in product ownership, software development, or UX within an Agile environment. You should have a proven ability to manage and deliver Agile digital product development projects from start to finish. A strong understanding of healthcare software systems or medical devices, particularly in surgical or interventional settings, is essential. It's important to possess a working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 13485. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial, as you'll be engaging with engineers, clinicians, and stakeholders. You should also demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Owner, you'll serve as the crucial link between user needs, business objectives, and technical delivery. You will work with an agile product team to define and prioritize features, ensuring every release provides value to clinicians while aligning with our product vision and strategy. Your main duties will include:
- Defining, refining, and prioritizing the product backlog for our digital surgery platform.
- Translating user and stakeholder requirements into clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Supporting product discovery and guiding research and usability testing alongside Product Managers and UX teams.
- Acting as a key connector between Engineering, Product, and Design to ensure alignment across all areas.
- Collaborating with engineering to deliver high-quality, compliant software and hardware solutions.
- Leading Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Applying Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) principles to ensure quality and user-centered design.
- Monitoring performance post-release and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting compliance with medical device standards and documentation requirements.
- Partnering with Tech Comms to ensure clear and accurate release notes and user documentation.
This role is highly collaborative and combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, deeply understanding clinical workflows.
Description
We are excited to find a motivated individual who is passionate about creating technology that significantly impacts healthcare. This position is a 1-year temporary role, seeking to start as soon as possible. You do not need a medical background for this role, but previous experience as a Product Owner or Product Specialist is essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, with a hybrid working arrangement that includes being in our Central London office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, conveniently located within walking distance of Old Street and Angel stations. The compensation for this role ranges from £28 to £35 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of £54,500 to £68,000.
