Requirements
Must:
- An interest in IT, technology, and problem solving
- Basic familiarity with computers, laptops, or mobile devices
- A logical approach to figuring out technical problems
- Friendly and confident communication skills when helping others face-to-face
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
Responsibilities
- Responding to IT support requests and helping users resolve issues in person when they cannot be fixed remotely
- Assisting staff with common technology problems
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on computers, laptops, and other devices
- Helping with basic diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Learning from experienced colleagues while developing your IT support skills
Description
At thefutureworks, we are excited to offer an entry-level IT support position based at Coventry University Scarborough Campus. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start or grow their career in IT while being part of a supportive team. We provide training and development opportunities to help you succeed as you assist our staff with technology issues. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with an hour for lunch.
