Requirements

Must:
We seek a candidate who is customer-focused and has a genuine desire to provide quality service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be a team player who can contribute to a collaborative working environment and possess an understanding of ITIL and Cyber Essentials frameworks. Additionally, you should have proficiency in endpoint support for Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac devices, with a focus on troubleshooting to ensure user productivity. Experience with Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune, is necessary. You should also have experience managing Azure resources such as Azure Session Desktops and Azure files, as well as Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS. A solid understanding of network infrastructure, including DNS, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and VPNs, with the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues is required. Experience with VOIP technologies, particularly Microsoft Teams telephony and its integration within an MSP environment, is also important.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will handle escalated issues from first-line support that require a deeper level of technical expertise. You will perform advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. Additionally, you will coordinate with third-line engineers or external vendors when necessary to resolve complex issues. Proper communication and information transfer are key when escalating these issues, as you'll need to provide all necessary details to facilitate a fast resolution. You will conduct root cause analysis on recurring or complex issues to prevent future occurrences and provide reports and documentation on findings to management and other teams for further review or corrective action. Ensuring that all incidents and requests are handled in accordance with established SLAs and following compliance, security, and quality assurance guidelines during troubleshooting and system changes will also be part of your responsibilities.

Description

We are offering a competitive salary in the range of £27-28K, along with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
