Requirements
Must:
- 2 years experience in military or commercial radio communication
- RF propagation experience
- Strong IT skills, including database management and networking topologies
- Proficiency in TCP/IP and DMR/PMR software applications
- Current or previous SC (security clearance) eligibility
- Experience in fault finding across various telecommunication platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- RF fault diagnostics
- Broader technical skills in designing bespoke solutions
- Desired: Knowledge of PMR programming software (Tait, Simoco, Motorola, Kenwood, and Hytera)
- Desired: COTS radio repair down to component level (Tait, Simoco, Motorola, Kenwood, and Hytera)
Responsibilities
- Design and build bespoke technical solutions based on customer requirements
- Provide technical assurance to customers
- Prepare CODEPLUGS/FLEET Plans for customer specifications (Motorola & Hytera)
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain telecommunication equipment from various vendors including Hytera, Motorola, Tait, Simoco, and Kenwood
- Conduct site maintenance and servicing
- Manage faults with log analysis and defect debugging
- Conduct customer needs analysis and present new products
- Provide technical support to communication systems in major contracts
