Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting VMware ESXi
- Experience with Distributed Virtual Switches, DRS / DPM
- Knowledge of VMware vSAN (Hybrid & all-flash storage)
- Proficiency in VMware vCenter, including HA, clustering, cross-site resiliency
- Familiarity with VMware NSX, including Micro-segmentation and cross-site deployments
- Experience with VMware Horizon, AppVolumes, and AppStacks
- Recent virtualisation certification (e.g., VCP)
- Strong communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Active SC clearance
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, build and validate the core virtual estate for a secure, multi-site platform
- Produce design artefacts and conduct system testing
- Resolve complex virtualisation issues in partnership with Service Management
- Support the delivery and maintenance of accredited secure solutions
- Work within UK public-sector or secure government environments
- Engage in Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
- Assist in supporting large-scale enterprise virtualisation estates
- Utilize Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation

We offer a full-time, permanent role based in Hybrid Corsham (Wiltshire) with a competitive salary range of £60,000 to £70,000.
