Requirements
Must:
To join our team, you should have a strong understanding of technical support, incident management, and problem-solving skills. An essential understanding of cyber security, as well as the tools and services necessary to protect our college and its data, is required. You must be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, whether on campus or remotely. Experience in deploying and configuring hardware, installing software updates, and identifying improvements to enhance IT services is advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will provide technical support by handling complex issues beyond the capabilities of first-line support, managing ongoing technical problems, and ensuring timely resolution. I will work closely with first-line analysts to understand and address issues, as well as collaborate with technical teams as needed. Regular maintenance checks of IT systems, performance monitoring, and updating knowledge bases will also be part of my duties. I will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance IT services in alignment with our service catalogue.
