Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong Power BI and SQL skills, ideally with experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL. You should have a working knowledge of Python for data automation, as well as expertise in data visualization and modeling. Familiarity with GitHub and collaborative workflows is essential, alongside excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Additionally, good Excel skills and a basic understanding of IT support are required.
Desirable skills include experience with DAX/Power Query, APIs, and automation platforms such as Power Automate and N8N. Experience in cloud environments (AWS or on-prem) and with AI-assisted development tools (like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT) would be beneficial. An awareness of simple web development, such as React or similar, is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, write efficient SQL queries including joins, CTEs, and window functions, and utilize Python for data wrangling, analysis, and automation. You will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance while collaborating with stakeholders to define visuals and metrics. We expect you to use GitHub for version control and workflow management, support automation through low-code tools and integrations, and occasionally coordinate with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to resolve IT issues.
