Requirements
Must:
- I have 7+ years of IT Project Management experience leading projects.
- I possess strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- I have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and presenting to leadership teams.
- I am proficient in project management tools, including MS Project, Office 365, and PPM tools.
- I am comfortable using Azure DevOps (ADO).
- I have a solid technical understanding of IT delivery projects, including Compute, Network, and Software Solutions.
- I demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- I exhibit strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- I hold a Project Management qualification (PMI, PMP, or equivalent).
- I have experience mentoring and leading validation phases of projects.
- I can work effectively in complex, global, matrixed environments.
Responsibilities
- I will lead project planning, design, and execution phases, including Stage Gates.
- I will manage risks, stakeholders, and escalations, presenting updates to steering committees.
- I will produce weekly status reports, governance packs, and project communications.
- I will manage cross-functional teams across global sites to ensure timely updates.
- I will support and mentor other project managers or staff performing PM functions.
- I will oversee project pipelines and interdependencies through portfolio forums.
- I will engage with the Global PMO and strategy teams on new initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- I will ensure compliance with project management audit controls.
Description
I am seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our global organization with a major presence in Cork. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a multi-year, international programme of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project delivery within global, matrixed organizations, leading multiple workstreams while working across different cultures and time zones. Prior technical experience with infrastructure (Network & Compute), SAP-based warehouse management systems, and a background in manufacturing environments is highly desirable. In this high-impact role, I will be at the center of delivering global IT programmes, working with diverse teams and shaping project management best practices. This is a 12-month rolling contract position, requiring 3 days onsite in South Cork City, with a payment range of €550 - €600 per day.
