Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to work in cross-functional product teams in an agile environment, delivering small increments of value to our customers frequently. The ideal candidate should have experience with REST, JSON, and be capable of building clean architecture using TDD and BDD for mobile platforms. A positive, 'can-do' attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and effective communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that each initiative has a clear definition of done and that the features are met.
- Communicate complicated problems succinctly and accurately to a team with diverse skill sets.
- Exhibit cross-functional behavior and support other competencies within the company.
- Negotiate and find compromises to balance best practices with expediency and long-term maintenance costs.
- Demonstrate and promote good practices in your professional field to other team members.
- Propose new technologies, processes, or tools to improve efficiency while considering future maintenance costs and consistency across product teams.
- Make realistic commitments and strive to meet them.
- Maintain and improve engineering practices and software quality through methodologies like TDD, pairing, peer review, and static analysis.
- Support the product owner and development lead with accurate estimates appropriate for the development lifecycle stage.
- Assist the QA team in identifying, describing, and resolving defects.
- Collaborate with the BA in elaborating requirements.
- Take responsibility for the delivery lifecycle, from idea through marketing, sales, and operations.
- Manage your own training and development needs.
- Attend industry events and share insights with the team.
