Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in systems development
- Good communication skills for building effective working relationships
- Experience in development, programming, and integration across one or more languages such as SQL, .NET, HTML, Java, XML, C++, C#, PHP, Python
- Broad experience with technology solutions, including ERP, CRM, ESB, Azure, Cloud, AI, IoT, RPA
- Experience with software or technical development delivery approaches like Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps
- Experience in analyzing business requirements and documenting system design
- Experience in developing code, unit testing, and deployment
- Experience delivering within structured development approaches using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent tools
- Some experience or awareness of technology platforms such as Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, SQL Server (including SSIS or SSRS), and Azure
- Willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and programming languages
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and issue resolution skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Educated to Level 2 (GCSE grade C+ or 9-4, or equivalent) or higher
- Desirable: Educated to degree level in an IT or STEM-related discipline or equivalent
- Desirable: IT systems development certifications and/or experience in Microsoft D365 CRM, Azure Integration Services, NEC Housing/Asset, and Oracle Fusion Cloud
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain IT systems that support business-as-usual IT services and the Change Portfolio
- Produce functional specifications and configure/develop code
- Conduct unit testing and document system designs
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Designers, and Architects to shape solution options
- Ensure all developments align with a coherent overarching solution design
- Deliver intended business outcomes
Description
We are looking for two Systems Developers to join our IT and Business Change team at our Oldham office. These full-time, permanent positions (35 hours per week) offer hybrid working.
