Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience in Web or Mobile App development (ideally full-stack or backend).
- Expertise in AI tools and a passion for advocating AI-driven approaches that improve efficiency and product impact.
- Familiarity with Chatbot development, Prompt Engineering, and AI-focused development.
- Demonstrable experience using AI tools to produce code, with an understanding of limitations, pitfalls, and necessary guardrails.
- Proven experience with AI tools, such as building LLM-based apps or integrating APIs.
- Experience working with external development teams in offshore/nearshore models.
Responsibilities
- Assess external partner development teams capabilities in AI Development, including tools in use and their effectiveness.
- Act as an AI Development specialist to support the customer pre-sales process and business development teams by offering AI expertise in project discussions.
- Advocate for an AI-first culture within the organization, enhancing AI usage and sharing expertise about valuable AI tools and processes across business teams.
Description
We are a web development consultancy based in Bristol, traditionally focused on building web and mobile apps for our clients. As we look to grow our AI Development capability, we are hiring an AI Development Lead who will serve as the technical and strategic leader of this initiative. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £80-100k, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape our future as an AI-first Development Consultancy. Our hybrid working model allows for onsite collaboration 2-3 times a fortnight.
