Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
- Experience in 1st line or 2nd line IT support
- Background in MSP or managed service provider environments
- Experience in SaaS support or software implementation roles
- Internal IT support experience looking to transition to client-facing work
- Confident troubleshooting of technical issues across multiple systems
- Comfortable communicating with clients and simplifying technical concepts
- Interest in transitioning to a more consultative, client-facing role
- Open to learning new platforms, including accounting systems
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Support clients through cloud accounting migrations (Xero & QuickBooks Online)
- Run discovery sessions to understand current systems and processes
- Design efficient, simplified future-state workflows
- Manage onboarding journeys from setup through to go-live
- Troubleshoot data, integration, and configuration issues
- Support bank feeds, chart of accounts, and system setups
- Work across internal systems and onboarding tools
- Improve data quality and support process standardisation
- Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Provide support to junior team members and assist with quality checks
Description
We are looking for a Client-Facing Cloud Implementation Specialist to join our growing Digital Services team within a well-established professional services environment in the South West. This hybrid role will require travel across Devon and Somerset. We offer a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 along with benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals from a technical support, MSP, or IT service background who are ready to step into a more consultative role, providing support to businesses as they transition onto modern cloud accounting platforms.
